Prayer to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton

 

Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton is the secondary patron saint of the Diocese of Arlington, as well as the patron saint of our parish, and many other parishes throughout the United States. She is the first American saint and is also the patron saint of children near death and persons rejected for their Catholic faith.
Lord God,
You blessed Elizabeth Seton with gifts of grace;
As wife and mother, educator and foundress,
So that she might spend her life in service to your people.
Through her example and prayers
May we learn to express our love for you
In love for our fellow men and women.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
Who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
One God, for ever and ever. Amen.
