There are 28 people in this photo taken on August 12, 2024, standing
in front of the altar at SEAS where the installation ceremony for
the 2024/25 council officers was held. All 15 of the officers are
shown in this photo. Eight of the officer’s spouses are here as well
as one of the officers mom’s, and one officer is holding his baby
son. The remaining three men are our district deputy, the Kern/Inyo
chapter president and vice-president.

2023 council meeting.
Our council helps the St. Vincent DePaul homeless center by
collecting donated clothing and helping with some of their food
programs. Here is a group of our members who prepared and served

Our council has been sponsoring an annual men’s retreat at the
beautiful St. Anthony’s retreat center in Three Rivers, CA since
2014. It is open to all men of the parish. Watch for announcements
of the next retreat in our monthly online newsletters and our
calendar page.This photo is from the January 2022 retreat.

Bob and Sandra Pahls our first family of the year (2009/10).
They are standing next to our council banner that they purchased. Our
council has a perpetual plaque listing the Grand Knight, Knight of
the Year, and Family of the Year for each council year. The
plaque it displayed in the SEAS lobby.

annual ongoing program supported by the SEAS parish and run by our
council.

Here is a photo of our first seven grand
knights. From the left is Jim Dutton, Gary Rohr (now deceased), Jim
Patten, Eric Menor, Mike Neal, Tony Urzanqui, and Vince Pagano. As a
group, we are diverse in terms of age, occupations, not to mention
sizes. We are all married, have children, and were working full-time
when we were grand knights.
